Whichever route, verify the drive is on NVMe (protocol) quality — not SATA mechanical.

RAM: That 32GB Standard

Open-world games like this stream enormous tiles of world geometry, and 16GB faces out. The console standard is 16GB, but Rockstar games are known for eating system RAM beyond the game's own allocation.

• NVIDIA: 12GB+ fine for this title — RTX 5070 and up, or RTX 5060 Ti 16GB.
