Wise Care 365 is a long-running product from WiseCleaner (the makers of Wise Registry Cleaner and Wise Disk Cleaner), organized into PC Checkup, System Cleaner, System Tune-up, Privacy Protector, and System Monitor tabs. It cleans junk files and browser traces, repairs and defrags the registry, protects startup items and your default browser from unwanted changes, and includes a process manager, system backup/restore points, and an undelete tool. For general Windows housekeeping, it's a capable, inexpensive option.
None of that targets gaming-specific bottlenecks. Registry cleaning and defrag matter less on modern SSD-based Windows 11 systems, and Wise Care 365 has no game profiles, no power-plan tuning, no kernel timer or network stack settings, and no process-priority or GPU driver workflows — the areas that actually move frame time and input lag. Like most freemium utilities, the free tier nudges toward the paid Pro tier for the deeper cleanup tools.
SageTweaks focuses on the gaming-relevant Windows tuning that Wise Care 365 does not attempt, includes its own basic cleanup tools, and publishes a public VirusTotal report so you can verify what you're installing.
SageTweaks is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wise Care 365. This comparison is intended to help buyers evaluate fit, safety, pricing, and activation expectations.

Wise Care 365 comes from WiseCleaner, a long-established vendor with no major breach history we found. The usual caveats for any registry cleaner apply — back up the registry before letting it remove entries (Wise Care 365 does this automatically) — and the free version nudges you toward the paid Pro tier for its deeper tools. Nothing in our research points to it being unsafe.
Only marginally. Freeing disk space and trimming a bloated startup list can shave a little boot time and prevent background clutter, but Wise Care 365 has no game-specific profiles and doesn't touch the settings that actually move FPS or input lag — power plans, kernel timer resolution, network stack tuning, process priority, or GPU driver configuration. It isn't built for game optimization.
Not meaningfully on modern hardware. Registry cleaning and disk defrag were relevant on older HDD-based Windows 7 systems; on an SSD-based Windows 11 gaming PC they have little to no measurable effect on frame rate. The scenario where it can help is freeing up storage if you're running critically low on disk space.
Gaming-relevant Windows tuning: power plan optimization, kernel timer resolution, network stack tuning, GPU driver tweaks, process priority management, and dedicated/detected-game optimization profiles. Wise Care 365 is a general-purpose cleaner and tune-up tool; SageTweaks is built specifically around gaming performance.
For gaming-focused users, mostly. SageTweaks covers registry cleanup, startup management, and gaming optimization in one product. The exception is Wise Care 365's Privacy Protector — dedicated browser-trace and privacy cleanup — which isn't something SageTweaks does; if that's your primary use case, Wise Care 365 (or a dedicated privacy tool) still fills that gap.
Wise Care 365 is freemium — see WiseCleaner's site for current Pro pricing. SageTweaks offers monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans, including a $79.99 lifetime option. Compare current renewal pricing and your device needs before choosing.
